God wants you to take your next step spiritually. That could mean digging into the Bible to see what He has to say about your gifts and why you exist or even exploring where we're headed as a church. Calvary’s Starting Point classes are all about those next steps, join the always growing group of Starting Point students on the same spiritual journey.

Starting Point Track I. is a 1 hr. class on the last Sunday of each month during our 8:30am service. This class is the pre-requisite for membership, ministry involvement and leadership development here at Calvary. This is your introduction to all things Calvary and your best place to get started on your journey. Membership and baptism are also covered at the end of the class for those who are interested. Register at the Kiosk on Sunday or at the main office during the week and pick up your class syllabus for only $10.

The Starting Point classes are comprised of three tracks. Track I. - Discovering Calvary (FAMILY) This 1 hr. class is your introduction to all things Calvary and covers Our Strategy, Our Structure, Our Statements, and Our Salvation. Track II. - Discovering Spiritual Maturity (FAITH) These two 1.5 hr. classes cover Discipleship, Getting a Grasp on your Bible, Time with God, Prayer, Giving, Fellowship, and How to Start and Maintain Good Habits. Track III. - Discovering My Design (FRIENDS) These two 1.5 hr. classes help equip you with the skills needed for ministry and covers Ministry Service, Shaped for Ministry, Spiritual Gifts, Discovering my S.H.A.P.E., and Serving Through Calvary. At the end of the Track III. you will also have an opportunity to schedule an optional follow up S.H.A.P.E. interview with a ministry coach here at Calvary so you can more effectively use your gifts serving on a ministry team suited to your passion or interest. After attending Track I., if you are interested in taking Tracks II. or III., please register at the Kiosk on Sunday or at the main office during the week and you will be notified of our next class.

The Starting Point Seminars are also offered for your convenience ONLINE. Now you can enjoy the class from the comfort of your home or office while still balancing busy schedules at your own pace. Register at the Kiosk on Sunday or at the main office during the week and pick up your class syllabus for only $10. Once you have your syllabus click GET STARTED and begin listening to classes 1 - 6 (Track I. - Classes 1 & 2, Track II. - Classes 3 & 4, Track III. - Classes 5 & 6) while filling in the blanks in your notes as you follow along. When you have completed all 3 Tracks, please hand your book in to the office or kiosk, so we can confirm you have completed the classes and you can schedule your optional S.H.A.P.E. ministry involvement interview.
